French Immersion & Homestay: Antibes to Paris
Antibes, one of the French Riviera’s hidden secrets, provides all that the Riviera has to offer: a fantastic beach scene, dozens of outdoor cafés, concerts, and festivals, all while still maintaining its French authenticity with relatively few tourists. Antibes is especially popular with teenagers and provides the ideal setting for students wanting to immerse themselves in the French language and culture.
Let Abbey Road use the entire city of Antibes as your living classroom this summer! You will live with a homestay family while taking classes that allow you to practice and improve your language skills in an active and fun manner—from interviewing locals to buying fresh ingredients in the farmer’s markets!
The group takes day-trips to some of the most beautiful sites of the French Riviera: Monaco, Nice and its Old Town, Cannes, and Eze. From the Palais des Festivals, host site for the world famous Cannes Film Festival, to the medieval village of Eze and its renowned perfumerie, you will see the best of the French Riviera while having a blast with your new friends. The group will also spend three days in Paris, soaking up the Parisian lifestyle, visiting the museums of Louvre, d'Orsay, Picasso, Rodin, and the Centre Pompidou, and exploring the Marais, Quartier Latin, Bastille, and Saint Germain-de-Prés.
