Option 1: BOSTON, 3 Days
Come to Boston and relive the exciting history of the American Revolution! Take a walking tour of some of Boston’s oldest neighborhoods that are teeming with history and charm! Tour Paul Revere’s House in the North End on your way to the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument. Stop in Quincy Market for lunch before strolling through the Boston Common on your way to Newbury Street. There is no better way to experience all that Boston has to offer than with a custom tour with Abbey Road!
Option 2: WASHINGTON D.C., 3 Days
Visit our nation’s capital to experience its beauty and historic richness first hand! The amazing collections of the Smithsonian, the breath-taking Lincoln Memorial, the Holocaust Museum and the impressive WWII Memorial- its hard to know where to begin! Your students will not only explore the roots of American government but will also get to see it in action by visiting the White House, the Capital Building and the Supreme Court. Let Abbey Road help you plan a trip that caters to your needs and your student’s dreams!
Option 3: QUÉBEC CITY, CANADA
Offer your students a taste of Europe with an unforgettable trip to Quebec City or Montréal! Due to the impressive cultural and historic richness of these cities, they are incredibly popular destinations for high-school students. A trip to Québec City or Montréal is the perfect opportunity not only for French students looking to practice their skills, but also for History, Science and Art teachers looking to enrich the classroom experience.
Take a walking tour of Québec City that winds down Rue Petit – Champlain ( North America’s oldest street!) and visit the majestic Chateau Frontenac to see the amazing panorama it offers. Continue your guided tour, offered in French or English by experienced guides, into the Vieux Québec to see Parliament, National Assembly and the Musée de la Civilisation. After all of that walking and excitement, settle down to a delicious dinner in one of the city’s sugar shacks.
Montréal, the second largest city in Canada, is one of the largest French speaking cities in the world! Archeologists suggest that Montréal was inhabited over 2,000 years before the arrival of the Europeans making it a fascinating historical destination. The city boasts a booming science community with popular sites such as the Space Camp, Biodome, Enviroment Canada’s Biosphere, and Botanical Gardens. Montréal is also the cultural seat for Francophone North America. Come see the lively Quartier Latin and feel the pulse of this exciting city!
Montréal and Québec have something wonderful for everyone! Let us plan a personalized trip for you to make the most of everything they have to offer!
Option 4: CUSTOMIZED TRIPS
Looking for something a little different? Abbey Road can also plan completely personalized trips to anywhere in the United States and Europe!
