Today will be my fourth day in Barcelona. So far, I’ve been able to see much of the city. Yesterday, we went to the beach for a couple of hours. (pictures linked below) The sun was very strong; therefore, many of us were burned, but it was gorgeous so we managed to have fun. After going to the beach, we walked around to find a nice place for lunch and we even found a delicious gelato cafe. Later in the evening we spent about an hour hanging out in Park Miro, then went to dinner in an area with a live band and street vendors. The day was filled with so much excitement that by the end of the day, we were exhausted.
Some stayed up to watch France play Portugal in a soccer game, but most of us went straight to our rooms and crashed. This morning I took my Spanish placement test so I can be placed in the appropriate class level. Later, I will have my first elective class, soccer. There will be an option tonight to go watch a movie, but I might have to pass due to how exhausted I am from yesterday.
